Interchangeable Search Frequencies: With the Quest Q35, you also have the option to change the search frequency. For instance, if you’re targeting larger, deeper objects, it’s advisable to set the Q35 to 5 kHz. If you’re only looking for small jewelry or perhaps tiny gold nuggets, it’s best to set the Q35 to 21kHz. If you’re primarily coin hunting, then setting it to 13kHz is optimal.
