Interchangeable Search Frequencies: With the Quest Q35, you also have the option to change the search frequency. For instance, if you’re targeting larger, deeper objects, it’s advisable to set the Q35 to 5 kHz. If you’re only looking for small jewelry or perhaps tiny gold nuggets, it’s best to set the Q35 to 21kHz. If you’re primarily coin hunting, then setting it to 13kHz is optimal. The interchangeable search frequencies combined with frequency shifting also provide more options to avoid interference sources.
